Sous Chef Ideal Profile:

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or talented and enthusiastic Chef de Partie ready for the next level

Demonstrates a passion for delivering quality, globally inspired food using fresh ingredients

Takes an interest in new food trends and is eager to experiment with innovative culinary techniques and ingredients

Possesses strong organizational skills and a diligent work ethic, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Works well as part of a team, collaborating effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Maintains very high standards and attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service

Enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and advancing in their career

Sous Chef Responsibilities:

Support the Head Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and service

Ensure consistent food standards are maintained during all stages of production and service, adhering to hygiene, food safety, and health and safety regulations

Ensure all requirements of hygiene, food safety compliance, and health and safety are fully met at all times, maintaining a current 5-star rating

Assist the Head Chef in achieving individual and overall Gross Profit targets and meeting all financial goals

In the absence of the Head Chef, supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety procedures

Lead by example during service, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high-quality standards

Support a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and morale among kitchen staff
