Our client, a leading school tour operator, is seeking a Tour Consultant to be the first point of contact for schools planning group trips. You will be responsible for creating inspirational and educational itineraries. This is a Monday to Friday role on a hybrid or fully remote basis with a salary of up to £32,000 plus uncapped commission. Tour Consultant responsibilities:
Find and follow up on sales leads, quotations sent and close sales
Develop relationships with potential and existing customers
Set up costings for tours and create quotes tailored to the customer
The role is mainly telephone and email based; however, the successful candidate must be confident and able to attend face to face meetings when required
Able to travel to visit suppliers and hoteliers overseas to keep product knowledge up to date
Tour Consultant Sk ills Required:
You must be commercially astute and have excellent communication skills at all levels
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Target driven
Additional languages spoken would be a bonus
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Team player
Proficient in the world of MS Office
A passion for travel

Uncapped commission scheme
