As you will see - operating within the data space for this business it is literally the companies growth area with the opportunity for you to broaden your experience from a purely DBA to becoming involved in all matters from a data perspective with major transformations planned to be made here.
The What?
We are looking for an experienced SQL DBA / Developer who will be able to take ownership of the data estate alongside the senior DBA / Operations Manager as well as provide a level of thought leadership (coming hopefully from an interest in all things data!) about new technology to use to enhance the environment.
Commercial experience working with SQL Server administration & support
Experienced working within SQL Server development.
Data warehousing experience
Excellent T-SQL skills including including query optimisation, query plan analysis, etc.
Any experience within cloud environments... particularly with AWS would be beneficial!
