What you’ll be doing Providing personal care to children and young people with complex needs (aged 5 - 19 years)

Supporting the children in achieving their full potential in all areas of life

Maintaining accurate records

Promoting physical and emotional support and well-being

Carrying out domestic duties, including cooking, cleaning and other tasks vital to maintaining a clean and tidy home environment

Administering medication (after training)

What we are looking for You'll be passionate about supporting children and young people to ensure they reach their goals and have the best possible futures. Ideally you will have some previous experience of working in care or education, but if you can commit to being dedicated, patient and adaptable with excellent communication skills, then you are just the person we need! Over the past 120 years, St Elizabeth's has grown and developed to comprise a non-maintained special School for both boarders and day students, a specialist Further Education College, domiciliary care for College learners, Supported Living in the community, a comprehensive Day Opportunities programme for adult day clients and 24-hour health provision provided by specialist nurses and therapists.In addition to excellent staff training, our employees are also rewarded with various other benefits offered as part of your employment: Full-time or part-time hours available – (two, three or four shifts per week)

11 hour shift from 8.30pm – 7.30am rolling rota over 8 nights

Starting salary of £13.39 per hour

24 nights’ annual leave (based on full-time hours)

Career pathway including registration onto a Level 3 in Residential Childcare (fully funded by St Elizabeth’s)

Onsite training and assessment team delivering a variety of learning opportunities and development opportunities

Based at our beautiful countryside location in Much Hadham

20% uplift on your salary for working overtime on a Saturday & Sunday

Eligible for Blue Light card and other health and leisure discounts

Free onsite parking
