Job Requirements of this Learning Support Assistant job in Dudley
Experience or willingness to work with pupils aged 7-18 with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Adaptability to work in various classroom roles, indoors and outdoors, based on individual needs.
Ability to provide emotional and physical support to pupils.
Brief Overview of Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll be working with pupils aged 7-18 who have a range of complex needs, including social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as those diagnosed with autism or demonstrating behaviours associated with autism. This role involves preparing learning materials, running classroom activities, and providing emotional and physical support to pupils. The position is based in Dudley, with commuting distance to Wolverhampton, Birmingham, and surrounding areas.
Qualifications or Certificates:
GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
Experience:
Previous experience working with vulnerable pupils and young people is required
