The Registered Manager role
As the Registered Manager you’ll be responsible for the overall running of a care home for older people. This is quite a unique home with a small capacity, giving it a really homely feel and enabling you and the care team to deliver a service that feels really bespoke and personalised.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that CQC requirements are met, taking the lead on all Health and Safety matters, and ensuring the home complies with all its legal requirements.
You’ll lead the staff to deliver excellence, working cohesively as a team and to develop their skills
You’ll lead and promote the charity’s philosophy, values, aims, and approach to care.
Provide regular reports and updates on quality monitoring to the board.
What we’re looking for;
Somebody who has worked as a Registered Manager with experience of elderly care and has excellent knowledge of CQC standards.
Ideally you’ll have worked in a residential care home setting previously
Good Leader off staff, and able to work as part of the team.
QCF5 / NVQ 4 in health and social care
Commutable to Brentwood
Ability to partake in the on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks)
