Our Theatre Team currently have an opportunity for a Senior Theatre Practitioner with surgical first assistant qualification. Continue your journey with us whilst we’ll support you to be your best.

To join a friendly and supportive theatre team to deliver excellent patient care during the perioperative episode.

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will:*

* Be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team.

* Provide continuous competent and dedicated assistance under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon throughout the procedure.

* Promoting best practice and contributing towards quality improvements.

* Acting as an SFA within scope of practice, across a caseload of orthopaedic, general, gynaecology and urology surgery.

* Working as a Theatre Practitioner across various specialities when not acting as SFA.

As a Senior Theatre practitioner, you will have:*

* Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.

* Surgical First Assistant Qualification.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Immediate Life Support provider.

* Mentorship qualification.

Overtime

For clinical roles grade 9 and below, the overtime is at a standard rate of pay. For unsocial hours, you’ll be paid an additional enhancement to your salary at the following rates: Nights Hours worked between 7pm and 7am on any day of the week, 30% of basic hourly rate. Weekends Hours worked between 7am and 7pm on a Saturday or Sunday, 20% of basic hourly rate. Bank Holidays Hours worked between midnight and midnight of a bank holiday, 100% of basic hourly rate.
