As a Project Manager at Cocentric, you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse range of technology-focused projects, from complex, large-budget client projects with high-profile clients to develop their modern workplace solutions, to significant internal projects like product development. This role demands a blend of technical understanding, particularly in Microsoft technologies, and project management expertise to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards to ensure client satisfaction as well as account growth and retention.
This is a UK-based position operating out of our Leith Walk office in Edinburgh, with flexible working in place to allow working from home as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Working across our range of customer and technical teams, you’ll be working very closely with the Product Delivery Lead and Head of Digital Consulting to support the planning and execution of all projects.
Oversee and deliver project management for both key client and critical internal projects, ensuring clear planning, execution, and delivery within time and budget constraints.
Utilise Smartsheet (or equivalent) for the creation and maintenance of detailed project plans for customers, tracking progress against milestones.
Conduct budget and resource tracking using Harvest, collaborating with line managers on forecasting to pre-empt and address potential issues.
Deliver high quality client communications, creating and delivering regular project reports, and facilitating key meetings, including documenting minutes and tracking action items.
Implement risk management strategies, contributing to proposal development and managing project risks.
Act as a shared project management resource across all delivery teams, with smaller projects being managed by lead resources.
Support leadership with comprehensive project updates, evaluating and proposing process improvements for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain awareness of team resourcing needs, assisting in future resource forecasting to ensure project success.
Identify and promote opportunities for client growth, and help develop through to proposal stage.
Use strong relationships with the clients to support account management to maximise the value of the partnerships.
CAPABILITIES
Core Skills
Mandatory proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on project management applications and tools.
2-5 years’ experience in a project support, coordination role, or PMO, preferably within the IT or technology sector.
Demonstrable experience with project management software such as Smartsheet and Harvest.
Strong client engagement and communication skills, with a history of successful project delivery.
Knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile), with formal certification preferred.
Secondary/Desirable Skills
Experience with SharePoint and other Microsoft technologies is highly desirable.
Additional certifications in project management or Agile methodologies.
