Job Title: Audio Typist
Location: Lower Lane, L9 7LJ
Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5hrs per week
Trust Location: The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust
What you'll be responsible for:
Provide an audio transcription/typing service. The post holder will be expected to type clinical correspondence inclusive of letters to patients, clinic appointments, test results, referrals and discharge summaries.
Audio typing of patient correspondence accurately and in line with Trust KPI targets.
Undertake accurate recording / inputting and amending of data within Trust information systems.
Ensure that information received is recorded accurately onto the appropriate system.
Support secretaries, clinicians and management in service delivery.
You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You'll have the following skills/experience:
AMSPAR qualification or relevant experience
Excellent IT skills
To work as an effective team member within the secretariat.
To deal with patient related matters in a confidential and professional manner.
