Reed Accountancy is currently assisting an established client in the Horsham area who are seeking a Finance Assistant to join their existing team. Reporting to the Finance Manager , you will gain hands-on experience across the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and wider Transactional Finance Functions.
As Finance Assistant responsibilities will include:
Assisting with all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconciliation of supplier statements.
Maintain accurate and detailed customer records and create new customer accounts
Maintain accurate and detailed supplier records and create new supplier accounts
Assist with daily and monthly bank reconciliations (multiple currency accounts).
Assist with processing credit card transactions
Assist Finance Manager with weekly reporting and month-end duties
Qualifications, Experience and Skills required:
Previous accounts experience and working knowledge of Sage
Ideally active AAT studier
Intermediate to Advanced level of Excel and Microsoft skills
Experience of working with multiple currencies
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
