Hiring multiple Teaching Assistants in Cambridge for Special Needs Schools.
Start: Sept 2024
Salary: £13/hr
Type: Full Time (Term-Time only)(Temp to Perm)
Timings: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (32.5 hrs/weekly)
About School: Students aged 3-19 years that have Education, Health and Care Plans. The school supports a range of different needs, including moderate to severe learning difficulties, complex needs, profound and multiple learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Conditions.
Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a diverse range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating closely with teachers to plan and prepare lessons that cater to individual student requirements.
Assisting students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and understanding.
Providing one-on-one support to students with intimate care, physiotherapy, and feeding needs.
Implementing behavior management strategies and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
Right To Work in the UK ( NO Sponsorship provided. Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for the position)
Personal or professional experience working with children
Passion was making difference in the lives of pupils with Special Needs
Minimum 6 months of experience working in the UK in a care or school setting.
Recent gradutes from Colleges/Universities are welcome to apply as well.
