A day in the life of
As Sales Manager you will drive revenue effectively managing all aspects of sales and marketing for the hotel across all market segments, including sports, leisure, extended stay market and the roof top bar and restaurant. Identify and procatively solicit new business, manage key accounts, and agents to increase revenue and share inline with the hotels' sales and revenue strategies.
You will work with the hotel Director of Sales and Marketing, General Manager, Sales Effectiveness Director, and Revenue team to continuously align and devise strategies and tactics to retain and grow the business. Utilising this intelligence, you will develop strategic plans and ensure the hotel remains competitive in the marketplace.
Based in the dual branded Hyatt Place & Hyatt House Leeds, you will be part of a sales team of passionate people. The hotel, due to open in Summer 2024 is a 305 key hotel with 217 bedrooms and 88 extended stay apartments as well as exciting destiantion roof top bar set in the heart of Leeds City Centre.
What do we need from you?
To be successful in this role, you will have experience and a proven track record in a Sales Manager capacity, preferably within the hospitality industry. Knowledge of the local market and extended stay preferable but not essential. Have a strong commercial outlook and be sales and revenue driven. You will support the delivery of the hotel commercial plan by executing the actions and strategies required to support the positioning of the hotel within the national and local market place.
This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with the senior management team on-property, Aimbridge and brand key account directors to ensure the hotel gains from maximum exposure and to ensure we maximise revenue at every opportunity.
