Job Description Our client, a leading aerospace company, is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join their team. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing site processes and procedures for environmental health and safety, regulatory compliance, and business requirements. You will be responsible for promoting a safe workplace environment and fostering an EHS-conscious culture throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote a safe workplace environment without risk to health and minimize the impact to the environment

Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations

Accurately and timely record clockings and bookings for time and attendance and job costings

Maintain clean and organized workstations, adhering to a clear desk policy

Comply with all Quality standards, processes, and procedures, minimizing wastage

Support cost reduction and management initiatives

Keep knowledge and training up to date for necessary operations

Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative working environment

Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned

Key Candidate Requirements:

NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety

Proven experience in multiple EHS areas in a manufacturing environment

In-depth knowledge of Environmental and Health & Safety Regulations

Proficient in Risk Assessment, COSHH, PUWER, DSEAR, and Safety Management Systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and decision-making abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

NEBOSH Diploma in Health & Safety

IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management

Six Sigma training

Noise at Work Training

Industrial Hygienist competency qualification
