SLS Recruitment are representing our client based in Newcastle, they are currently looking for sales assistants for their growing sales team due to their clients high demand for new customers. Sales assistants will be given initial client training so you fully understand who you are representing as well as the structure of the business and how you can make the most out of the role on offer.

Sales Assistant Responsibilities:

To attend initial training in the office and our client recommends you also attend ongoing skill development sessions to enhance your ability to make sales and a good customer experience

To learn about the client, their products and services, important statistics and information which can help you speak with customers and keep them informed

To speak with members of the public within residential campaigns face to face with the main purposes to provide a face for the brand, create brand awareness and produce sales on behalf of you client

For those looking to progress, you may also want to attend leadership skill development sessions and their business development programme, to understand what it takes to progress within the business

To provide feedback on locations, sales stats/ratios to help the company better understand their processes and how to improve them.

Sales Assistant Requirements:

Customer facing experience ideal, but not needed to be successful, no experience required

Willingness to undergo training and attend skill development session to improve sales ability

No qualifications needed , although a recent graduate would be ideal for this role

Must have full time availability, at least 4-5 full days per week between Monday and Saturday

Must be willing and able to commute daily to the office based in Newcastle

Must have great English speaking skills and be comfortable communicating with members of the public
