About the role:
Ink is seeking a Sales Team Leader to join us and be a part of the growing Commercial team in our London office.
Working as part of the Commercial team, you will be overseeing and selling advertising sales opportunities to some of the biggest brands and agencies in the world. You’ll be contributing to a new monthly magazine for a leading European airline, with a readership of up to 7 million people . Yes, 7 million people will be seeing the results of YOUR WORK.

The Role:
Taking ownership of the title and its advertising content
Leading, coaching, motivating and developing your team
Managing the sales process from start to finish - you will be selling too!
Maximising advertising revenue by carefully planning and executing sales strategy
Leading and reviewing performance of sales team against KPI’s
Attending industry events when necessary
Building new and nurturing existing client and agency relationships
Planning advertising strategy including budgeting and forecasting
Developing creative and innovative ways to grow and win business
Leading from the front
Monitoring, achieving and succeeding daily/monthly sales targets
Upselling to include the full suite of media products on offer
Liaising with production, editorial and compliance teams
Working closely with leadership and recruitment team
Meeting clients face to face if necessary

Required skills:
Proven experience and leadership skills in a target driven environment
Experience in media/publishing (desirable but not essential)
Sound understanding of media and advertising industry (desirable but not essential)
Experience in working with a diverse range of clients
Ability to galvanize and motivate a team
Confident and an outgoing personality
The ability to work under pressure and meet targets
Dynamic, focused and self-starter
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
Previous experience in leading sales teams, preferably in the advertising space but all experience will be considered
