Exam Invigilator

Draig recruitment are hiring exam invigilators to work part-time in Secondary schools across Flintshire. Applicants should have previous experience working in a school and ideally trained in exam invigilation and / or scribing. Full exam invigilation training can be provided as long as you have some experience of working with children or young people.
Hours are part time, paid a min of half of a day rate. Pay is £12-£13.48 per hour. Exams can run between the months of January, February, May, June, and December.
To be considered for this role you will need to:
Support the exams team
Prepare the exam room
Report any incidents
Follow school exam policy, students sat in correct seats, removal of mobile phones
Ensuring the exams run in a timely manner
Supervising students throughout their exams
Collecting exam papers and tidy up the room after the exam is finished
Scribe experience would be an advantage to support children with additional learning needs
Additional requirements:
Eligibility to work in the UK
References confirming suitability for role
Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willing to apply
Safeguarding training or willing to take a free course with us
