We are a leading recruitment agency representing a client in search of a Credit Controller . This role is essential for managing customer debts and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Annual Salary: £26,000
Location: Hybrid (2 days a week @ home post-probation)
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours, Mon - Fri
Day to Day of the Role:
Actively pursue outstanding debts through telephone and written communication
Resolve account discrepancies, including misallocated cash and incorrect invoice postings
Accurately allocate payments and post to the in-house system
Monitor and identify details for unallocated cash payments and reconcile general ledger accounts
Perform administrative duties, including preparing credit status forms and agency reports
Take full ownership of customer sales ledger accounts
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate accounting documentation
Update company databases and maintain accurate status reports
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency with PCs, particularly Excel and Word
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to remain calm and effective
