Reading train station is a major transfer point for a variety of train services, which makes it very popular as it serves a variety of different routes as they cross Reading from all over the country. Although Reading does not have a commercial airport within the town, the nearest airport to Reading is London Heathrow, which is approximately 30 miles away from the town.
