Summary the role :

It's an exciting time for an experienced Program Director to join the expanding Amadeus Hospitality Enterprise Program Delivery team.

The aim of the role is to ensure best-in-class delivery of an Enterprise Program, shaping processes to seamlessly and successfully migrate customers onto the Amadeus Hospitality Platform . You'll be responsible for ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction, ensuring the transition meets their expected high-quality standards.

Additionally, you'll lead and coach program teams and stakeholders distributed across the globe, and work with engineering and business teams to solve complex technical problems that ensure high quality results.

In this role you'll:

Be responsible for the delivery of the Program by:

Driving the Discovery process prior to the formal signature for the Program to ensure that the full potential scope of the Program deliverables is defined and understood, and that the necessary commercial and legal framework is established prior to the Program commencement

Creating and executing program management plans and charters and revising them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

Communicating / negotiating with Stakeholders as well as Senior Executives both internally and externally.

Managing the aspects of the Program effectively, managing issues and mitigating any risk.

Overseeing Program team members (e.g. Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and PMO specialists, Solution Manager, Scrum of Scrum from R&D, Sales and Account Managers, Operations personnel from Amadeus and from the Customer).

Reviewing major program deliverables and ensure they are of the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget in accordance with the program plan.

Ensuring effective governance of quality assurance is in place: Steering Committee, Program Status Meetings, Change Control Boards and that appropriate Program documentation is produced and maintained.

Producing and maintaining appropriate documentation: Program Management Plan including Schedule, Scope Statement, Cost Breakdown, Status Reports, Change Management Reports, Risk / Issues/ Actions Repository, Closure Report.

About the ideal candidate :

You'll be degree educated in Computer Science, Program Management or a related field, or have the equivalent professional experience and qualifications.

You'll have considerable Project and Program management experience, with major enterprise customers

You'll demonstrate knowledge of the hospitality industry, be a strategic thinker with a bias for action

It's a bonus if you have knowledge of the Amadeus Hospitality product offer (e.g. CRS/PMS/S&C).

You'll enjoy leading, guiding and keeping teams motivated and focused on delivery

You'll have executive presence, possess strong written and communication skills to problem solve, to negotiate and influence stakeholders, leadership and contributors (from both within Amadeus and the Customer)
