Role description:

We are seeking to appoint Senior Project Manager to join our Local Authority Sector focusing on high-profile construction projects based in Leeds or Wakefield.

Role accountabilities:

Accountable for delivery of Government related projects within the Residential, Public and Education sectors with reasonable complexity up to £20m + in value - to budget, quality and time metrics

Be fully responsible for communicating and highlighting project process compliance issues to the business director and to the clients as required

Manage the project and be responsible for bringing on new resource / headcount as required

Deliver the Project allocated to you in line with budgetary, compliance, regulatory & planning controls

Qualifications & Experience:

Be an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager from a Consultancy

Ideally Chartered APM or MRICS

Good previous experience working on large projects in either the Residential, Commercial, Education or Public sectors

Any Government / Local Government / Local Authority experience would be greatly desired

Relevant experience including the management of projects ranging from £1m to £20 million plus

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to liaise with peers and senior colleagues and build and maintain relationships

Commercial acumen and organisational understanding

A logical approach and ability to think through complex issues to co-ordinate multi-faceted aspects of projects
