Experienced Service Planner / Coordinator / Controller from a service engineering background, Automotive / Trucks / Bus / HGV / Plant / Access Control / Generators / Material Handling or a general Engineering service company. We require an experienced Service planner and coordinator to schedule Engineers workload, diaries and manage customers and their requirements. Someone who will be flexible to grow with the company. A dynamic, positive thinking, organised person will be required to meet the ever changing demands of this fast paced environment.

Duties will include but may not be limited to: Build and develop strong professional relationships with all existing and potential new customers.

• Proactively provide customers information regarding the progress of any visit(s), equipment, parts and services offered. • Assist with the management of the efficient use of the Service Engineers in the form of schedules to meet the customer’s requirements.

• Assist with pricing; cost control and issuance of maintenance agreements and quotations; generation of tenders and reports to customers • Assist when necessary to ensure that the Service Engineers have been provided with the applicable information, instructions and replacement part(s) to enable them to complete the repair efficiently. • Generate Works Orders for Production when required. • Ensure any changes which have a cost implication are brought to the attention of the customer. • Review any handover forms, Service Engineers’ reports and customer feedback and note any actions required, including follow-up works and non-conformances. • Compile and send all official documentation, such as invoices; credit notes; purchase orders; Service Engineer reports etc. • Maintain and administer accurate day to day operational information. • When requested by a customer, arrange for the provision of spare part(s) only and specialist technical advice. • General administration duties, such as faxing; sorting out the post; booking people into site etc. Candidate Requirements:- Excellent telephone manner. Excellent communication skills at all levels. Experienced database operation . Excellent organisational skills. Good geographical knowledge. Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. Ability to work with Microsoft products, such as Excel and Word. Methodical and logical problem solver

£27,000 + 5% Salary Bonus + Private Healthcare + Pension + 25 Days annual leave (plus 8 Bank holiday days)
