The travel industry offers lots of variety, not just in the type of work available but the location as well.

Who can I work for?

You can work for a huge number of companies including tour operators, travel agents and transport companies like National Rail, Stagecoach and Virgin.

Where and when can I work?

Opportunities to work in travel are spread throughout the UK, whether that is in the holiday and leisure sector or transport sector. Travel roles can include weekend and evening work but it depends which area you choose to specialise in.

What can I earn?

Salaries depend on the type, size and location of the company you work for. One example is pilots, who can earn anything from £20,000 to £75,000.
