We are now looking for Care Assistants to join us at our lovely care home in Gillingham (Dorset)

£8.58 per hour

As a Care Assistant you will be part of our friendly team who provide individual care to the elderly residents who live at St Martins Grange. Duties for the role of Care Assistant include engaging with residents, being aware of each individual resident's history and likes and dislikes, washing, dressing, toileting, bathing and carrying out personal appearance care.

Please note the role of Care Assistant involves covering early (8am to 2pm) and late shifts (2pm to 8pm), alternate weekends and some Bank Holidays (plus pay enhancements).

About you

We are looking for those with experience in a care role and those with none for the position of Care Assistant. The main qualities you will bring are a determination to provide excellent care for elderly vulnerable people and the desire to create a happy environment for them. We provide training opportunities so you can gain a Diploma in Health & Social Care.
