Care Worker - Bramhall

Skills/Requirements:
* A minimum of 6 Months experience in the UK within the health and social care
* An NVQ in health and social care or The Care Certificate would be beneficial
* Promoting person centered care and independence
* Ability to get on with people of all ages

* Excellent listening and communication
* Ability to work under own initiative and prioritise work load
* Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures
* Good writing skills in order to complete care plans and reports
Responsibilities can include:
* Assisting with personal care
* Preparing and assisting at meal times
* Medication
* Domestic duties
* Handling of sensitive and confidential information
* Providing social/ emotional support
* Providing personal assistance which can include: shopping, banking, social activities, school/college etc.
The following will be required prior to offering work:
* Enhanced DBS certificate (online update service beneficial)
* References (to cover 3 years including 1 care reference)
* Full employment history back to education, explaining any gaps
* Training
* Health and safety training
* Patient moving and handling training
* Infection control
* First Aid including BSL
* Safeguarding
* Medication (dependent on role)
* Epilepsy (dependent on role)
* Physical Intervention (depending on role)
HRGO's application process would include:
* Coming into our office to register with us by filling out our forms and completing your work history
* A face to face interview
* Taking all ID including right to work, proof of address X2, proof of national insurance number and any certificates you may have relevant to the post
* On completion of referencing, training and a DBS certificate you will attend a ready to work induction. The induction will cover:

* Your rights and responsibilities
* Provision of ID badge, timesheets and uniform (where required)
