This post offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced scientist to lead the ‘Sustainable Soil Management & Crop Nutrition’ research programme in AFBI. The post holder will address the challenge of identifying and exploiting opportunities for enhancing nutrient-use efficiency within the soil-plant-animal system, and for reducing detrimental nutrient (particularly nitrogen and phosphorus) losses to land, air or water.
Further appointments may be made from this competition should AFBI positions become vacant which have similar duties and responsibilities.
