Responsible for performing regular preventative and breakdown maintenance of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems to minimise unpredictive downtime and maximise plant and equipment availability. To support the Manufacturing Engineering department to improve our manufacturing capability and efficiencies
Our client has a serious financial backing from a FTSE 100 business and are just entering in to production for a new facility in the construction industry.
Performing scheduled preventative maintenance activities as assigned by our CMM software to improve plant and equipment reliability
Diagnose breakdown problems, fit new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly and safely.
Provide appropriate feedback to the Maintenance Manager and Service Administrator regarding fault analysis, parts required and repairs performed
Work in a collaborative way with all client departments; especially engineering and production colleagues
Advise and arrange for specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components from plant and equipment OEMs
Recognized apprenticeship to HNC level and above: -
Electrical and electronic engineering;
