I am currently recruiting a permanent Accounts Clerk position at an extremely successful and established business based in the Knutsford area. The role and business offer a strong annual salary, an excellent benefits package and long-standing job security.

As the Accounts Clerk, you will be responsible for a multitude of transactional accounting duties whilst supporting the wider Finance function on a daily basis

Key responsibilities include:

Escalation and resolution of Accounts Payable queries

Bank/Statement reconciliations

Journal posting

Processing of payments and bank transfers

Cashbook reconciliations

Banking duties

Allocating documents

Updating and maintaining company systems

Ad-hoc finance admin tasks

Key skills required:

Minimum 12 months transactional finance experience

Methodical or mathematical is advantageous

Able to operate MS Excel & Office with ease

Excellent verbal/written communication skills

Strong ability to work within a team

Excellent work ethic
