At EQ, people are at the heart of what we do.
As a modern, energetic accounting practice, we aim to provide a working environment that is inspiring, encouraging, friendly and supportive. In recent years we’ve been shortlisted for ‘Tremendous Learning and Development’ and ‘Exceptional Employee Engagement’ at the cHeRries Awards.
We have an excellent reputation for providing a comprehensive range of high-quality outsourced accounting services to our clients. Due to continued growth, we are looking to strengthen our Amber Accounting team in our Dundee office by recruiting a Cloud Accounting Assistant.
Our Amber Accounting team act as a Virtual Finance Office for our clients, delivering a bespoke selection of services to support our clients so they can focus on running their business. We fully embrace technology that helps us deliver our expertise in an efficient and flexible manner, using a variety of Cloud Accounting packages that provide accurate, up to date, detailed information. We are a Platinum Partner with Xero, an Accredited Partner with Sage and work closely with Quickbooks and other software providers.
Working within our knowledgeable and friendly team, you will report to the Amber Management Team as you support a range of clients with all aspects of cloud accounting and reporting both in the office and at client premises. Good numerical skills are essential, as are excellent communication skills and a keen willingness to learn and develop. A working knowledge of cloud accounting systems is not essential, as we offer in house training as part of our Xero Platinum Partnership status, however it would enhance your application. As a direct point of contact for our clients, you will be fully immersed in their business, meaning you will need to be professional, pro-active and have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
We will consider candidates from a range of backgrounds, whether accountancy or industry based, and will work closely with you to continually develop your technical skills and experience by providing any appropriate training where necessary.
We offer excellent working conditions (including a 35 hour week) within a supportive, knowledge sharing environment, as well as a competitive salary and benefits package (commensurate with relevant qualifications and experience).
