Because of continued demand of their products & services, this particular business is actively searching for a skilled CNC Turner to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Based in Bradford, this company is easily commutable from surrounding towns & cities including Leeds, Huddersfield, Halifax, Wakefield, Oldham, Rochdale, Pontefract and Castleford.
The CNC Turner will:
Have formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering, Machining or similar (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, HND or equivalent)
Have experience working as a CNC Turner, Programmer or Machinist within a high precision machining role
Be able to programme CNC Lathes from scratch using Fanuc controls, directly from engineering drawings
Be comfortable working on medium to heavy shafts/components (5" to 10 ft diameter)
Working hours of the CNC Turner:
37.5 Hours per week rotating between AM, PM & Night shifts
AM Shift: Monday to Friday - 06:00 to 14:00
PM Shift: Monday to Friday - 14:00 to 22:00
Night Shift: Monday to Friday - 22:00 to 06:00
Details of the CNC Turner position:
Renumeration: £38,640.00 (£28,000 + 38% shift allowance)
12 Month fixed term contract
Holiday Allowance: 33 Days (28 + public holidays)
Frequent Overtime paid at 150%
