Draken Europe are recruiting for a Bid Manager to take a lead role in bids across our business unit, ensuring the Draken Life Cycle Management (LCM) approach is applied appropriately and consistently to all bids.
They will ensure that bids and proposals are developed in accordance with the Shipley disciplines and be responsible for driving Draken’s Business Winning approach to preparing, writing and submitting proposals. In addition, they will oversee all aspects of proposal preparation, ensuring quality and compelling bids are submitted in a timely manner. Further, they will review customer requirements to ensure that they are met in the proposal and collaborate with functional leads to include all necessary information within the proposal.
This role is based at our Bournemouth International Airport site. Candidates must be within a commutable distance to the site, to be there as required and at short notice, although some remote working will be offered.
As a Bid Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
* Bid Management experience within a Regulated Engineering and/or Defence business (preferably Aerospace)
