The ICT Manager will lead a team that designs, implements and supports the company’s internal business and customer facing software and hardware infrastructure - this is a very hands-on senior 3rd line support role!
The post will ensure that the services provided deliver any Service Level Agreement (SLA) that is in place. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end-user help requests using ITIL based methodologies and the incident tracking software designated by the company.
The role will be accountable for all aspects of the day to day running of the ICT infrastructure including High Availability, performance, capacity planning, maintenance, receiving and responding to alerts, systems backup and restore, staff scheduling, management and development of the infrastructure team.
As the technical expert, will ensure that the ICT team follows ITIL best practices, and will plan and project manage and execute and, working with project managers, implement future ICT projects.
This is a technical management role whereby the holder will be expected to resolve issues themselves as well as manage other team members to ensure that SLAs are met.
The ICT Manager will take responsibility for providing support to the end users and back office systems as well as managing the helpdesk team.
The ICT Manager will have proven experience in VMWare, VEEAM, Active Directory, Exchange, IIS, SQL Server, advanced networking and Hardware Support, as well as excellent communication and customer facing skills in order to support both locally based and remote end users.
• Commercial experience in a similar 3rd line support role
• Detailed knowledge of High Availability Groups and clustering
• Microsoft SQL server clusters and basic SQL Server administration skills
• 3rd line support and Maintenance of Windows servers
• VMware 5.x or above
• Exchange Administration
• IIS Administration
• AD/DNS/GPO Administration
• Advanced networking (VLAN’s, PVID’s, routing etc)
• A self-starter, driven person who will take ownership of assigned tasks and drive to completion
• Must hold a driver’s license and have access to a car
• Excellent written and verbal communication

• EMC SAN Experience
• Information Security
• LEM/SIEM configuration and alerting
• LINUX support
