Publicis Media is part of Publicis Groupe and is present in more than 100 countries with over 23,500 employees worldwide.Job DescriptionWe are recruiting for a Pharma Media Strategy Director who can shape our health media offering around targeting Healthcare Professionals, now and in the future. This role brings to life the Publicis Groupe ‘Power of One’ strategy by combining expertise from Langland in healthcare creativity with the media capabilities and expertise of Publicis Media.You will bring to the role a point of view along with the confidence to challenge clients and colleagues alike and to ensure delivery on marketing metrics which drive successful business outcomes for our clients.  To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial; you will be building the discipline and therefore will need to understand every aspect of what a successful media strategy entails. You’ll be involved from idea inception to final implementation and beyond.Key responsibilities:Increase visibility of media expertise throughout Langland; articulate with clarity around customer segmentation, channel strategy, media strategy, tactics and execution.Help educate clients to understand the benefits of centralising their pharma media strategies.Drive media strategy and analysis, lead media recommendations, and review optimisations.Active participation in shaping creative and communications briefs based on media & channel behavioural insights.Proactively search out best practices from around the network to strengthen the team’s delivery; specifically work with our Publicis Health Media US partners, and Publicis Media EMEA pharma specialists to leverage existing platforms, tools & best practice.Contribute to strategy development across multiple cross-functional teams. Be alert to changes in the marketplace and adjust strategy accordingly.Work with the Data team within Publicis Health to create and execute a media data strategy across channels, on and offline.Create and execute a measurement framework for campaigns and clients across all media, working towards relevant KPIs that are aligned to client business objectives.The successful candidate will have:Proven experience in a senior planning role within a media environment.Demonstrable skills of working on a variety of media projects at global/regional/local levels which have both delivered success for clients and incremental revenue for your organisation.Experience with niche audiences.Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills and be seen as a credible ‘voice’ to both clients and internal stakeholders alike.Experience of managing teams, as well as being able to effectively manage relationships with peers and senior management.Healthcare experience and specifically pharmaceutical experience would be very helpful, however more important is a passion for health.Additional InformationHarnessing the power of the modern media landscape to drive one-to-one consumer engagement at scale, Publicis Media creates value for clients through global media agency brands and scaled capabilities across investment, strategy, insights and analytics, data and technology, commerce, performance marketing and content.TRUSTTrust is the cornerstone upon which we build our relationships.
