We are looking for a Digitals Operations Transformation Program Lead who will be responsible for defining and delivering digital strategy across the MP division. Optimizing the use of data and enhancing digital processes are key priorities for our business and this will be an exciting opportunity to shape and drive change in the operations and engineering arena.
The Transformation Leader will report to the VP Operations for MP who is responsible for manufacturing processes and execution of our standard operating system across the MP division. The successful candidate will have experience in designing, re-engineering, and implementing digital processes in a manufacturing environment. He / she will be a driver in the transformation of our engineering and manufacturing functions and will be expected to be a thought leader who will help harness the power of digital and Industry 4.0 innovation.
As an agent of change you will play a lead role in guiding our business teams in the adoption of digital innovation and capabilities and provide a practical approach to applying technology where it will add value. You will lead a core project team to define best practice, implement digital solutions, and create a template that will be rolled out to site operations teams across the MP division.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
In partnership with senior leadership team identify business opportunities to use digital technology to improve design excellence, information flow, and design for manufacture. Provide strategic direction to define, create and execute roadmaps to implement needed process and technology improvements. Build the foundations to increase the pace of digital change within the operations function of the organizationLeading/managing a variety of process improvement projects by creating clear plans, timelines, resource requirements, etc.Successfully delivering critical systems on time and on budget, ensuring that they meet the needs and expectations of business leadersProviding pragmatic solutions recognizing that “one size fits all” solutions do not always exist but balancing the need for customization / innovation with the practicalities of business realities.Working across the MP businesses and functions to provide effective and efficient solutions that support our transformation priorities.
Degree in relevant discipline.
Experience and Skills
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentMinimum of 5 years of experience in a process improvement roleExperience & understanding of Industry 4.0 and how the Digital Thread can drive real world transformation in a manufacturing company Significant ERP & PLM experienceGood understanding of design engineering, manufacturing engineering, sourcing, and downstream business processesDemonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplined organization and leverage peers‘ expertise when neededStrong collaboration skills / relationship building across levels and functionsDemonstrated track record of creating technology solutions to solve business problems across multiple divisions and regions within a single companyStrong business acumen / global business knowledgeProject portfolio management and executionTechnology expertise and knowledge of current trendsStrong communication skillsAbility to simplify the complexInterpersonal savvyStrong problem-solving skills
Must be willing and able to travel (approximately 20-25% travel)
