A great opportunity has become available for a Facilities Management Planner to join our team in Brentford, London. You would become a part of an efficient Technical Department on account with a reputation for excellent progression opportunities. It would be essential for you to have a working knowledge of an CMMS system, an understanding of facilities management environment and a good level of IT literacy (especially MS packages).  To do well in this role you would need to be a proactive self-starter, with an ability to see the bigger picture and willingness to learn and develop. You would be based in our client’s Global HQ in Brentford and as in your remit will fall another 3 nearby sites, you will be required to occasionally visit them too. Main Responsibilities Oversight of CMMS Maintenance and planning workload of contractors Coordination of contractors and related paperwork Planning for PPMs and follow on jobs Maintenance of CMMS system Support to the asset manager for service delivery for all aspects of Sodexo technical activities in the area, interaction with local customers to ensure high level of customer satisfaction and service delivery improvement initiatives Complaint resolution Co-ordinate and plan technical suppliers ensuring site availability for work Ensure third part suppliers provide safe systems of work, risk assessments, method statements, competency certificates of individual in a timely fashion Coordination and planning for all area tasks also feeding into the wide planning model, through the use of system like EAM, Maximo and Excel. Assessment of supplier technical reports, able to assess reports and ascertain what remedial works are required through discussion with Asset Manager. Maintain a structure filling system for subcontractors, including purchase orders, qualification documentation, service level agreements and maintenance/inspection reports. Keep accurate filling for Gas Safe and FGas records. Work with finance team to close out quoted works and ensure suppliers are fully paid. Make sure all works are carried out in accordance with quoted works Actively part take in Safety Walks, reporting of Safety Observations and Near Miss reporting.The Ideal Candidate An understanding of technical application and processes, with the ability to transfer skills across both technical and soft disciplines To have a good understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) IT Literate (MS packages in particular) A highly customer focused individual, motivating and driving performance in teams to deliver high standards of service and cost effectiveness Good understanding of risk management and HSE Experience in operation in a heavily regulated environmentAbout The CompanyIn the UK and Ireland, Sodexo employs some 35,000 employees to deliver integrated facilities management services to clients at over 2,000 locations in the corporate, healthcare, education, leisure, defence and justice sectors.
