You will have strong change management experience a background in financial services and a background in consultancy is always appreciated but never a necessity. The type of projects we cover are - Finance Target Operating Model design and Rightsizing including Finance, Risk and Treasury integration Finance Process Excellence; Process modelling, improvement (LSS), SECAR, Design thinking and Fast and quality Close Accounting Standards/ Regulatory Compliance; IFRS / GAAP, Capital requirements, planning & stress tests (BCBS/ CCAR), Internal Controls (e.g. SOX compliance), Audit & Regulatory Examination Support (S166) Data Management and Analytics; Data Quality, Data Lineage, Visualisation Finance Technology Strategy & Architecture; Architecture design and ERP Implementation and Business Readiness Business transformations to drive best practice & cost efficiency New Technology Adoption; Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Adoption Regulatory, statutory and management reporting projects covering IFRS, Finrep/ Corep, GAAP, BCBS and other In your role as a Finance Change Consultant you will have responsibility for: Delivery on client assignments Ensuring client satisfaction by providing timely, value-added services that meet or exceed expectation Manage stakeholder expectations spanning global business areas with conflicting priorities Develop long-term trusted advisor relationships with external clients and industry contacts Ensure management information is provided to and easily understood by programme lead, senior management & committees Lead a matrix management team, secure resources when needed, and leverage team member competencies to promote project interests and completion of objectives Manage programme budgets and benefits tracking across business & IT resourcing spend Ensure timely escalation & control of risks, issues, dependencies and timelines Establish best practices for development, leading Proof of Concept exercises for planning and reporting Monitor the effectiveness of a project on a day-to-day basis, using specialist knowledge to make operational improvements as opportunities permit Understand business models and help translate this into business requirements and test scenarios for handover to IT partners Working collaboratively with relevant teams Identifying opportunities for and securing new business Supporting the sharing of knowledge and experience with the team to develop colleagues and the capability of the firm Skills and Expertise Good understanding of Financial Accounting, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Capital Strong Business Analysis and demonstrated problem-solving skills Excellent Excel, PPT and SQL (desirable) skills combined with strong data analysis experience Good understanding of the drivers of credit risk (e.g. PD, LGD, EAD, etc.) Appreciation for Treasury Liquidity and Asset and Liability Management Strong relationship skills with experience in a client relationship role e.g. consulting Understanding of the project lifecycle from requirements through to implementation Well-developed project management, interpersonal, organisational, negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills Knowledge of formal project management methods e.g. Prince 2 (desirable) Ability to professionally and effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of management An appreciation of business and technical architecture Work with stakeholders across all business functions to define business requirements Work with technology partners to translate these requirements into functional and technical design Support functional deployment to users, providing training and post-implementation support Drive and own project reporting, planning, governance, and management Accounting qualification desired CIMA, ACCA, ACA  You will have excellent communication skills; with the ability to quickly gain credibility and build effective relationships with senior stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mind-set are fundamental to success in this role. Candidates will be expected to lead the delivery of changes and must be able to deal effectively with a wide range of technical and functional delivery groups to oversee delivery. Why Join Capco?
