Are you an experienced Support Worker or Care Assistant, looking for a new challenge?
Or do you have some personal experience of supporting or enabling someone, with a great understanding of enablement?
We are seeking people with a relevant background either in a paid role, or personal experience, who are looking to develop within social care, for an exciting opportunity within a residential home, supporting people with a range of needs.
Day shifts: Split shift basis 7am – 10am and 3pm – 8pm / 9pm
You will need to be a driver as you will need to drive people we support to day centres and activities within service vehicles.
You will support young adults who have a range of needs, including learning and physical disabilities, complex needs and autism. This will include supporting with all aspects of everyday living, from attending appointments, to supporting with shopping, cooking and with personal care. In addition, they are all fairly active and enjoy a range of activities which you may support them with, for example, rock climbing, canoeing, day trips away, cinema, holidays etc.
