Located within a busy city centre this modern pub is seeking a Head Chef to take on this opportunity to shine in the role and ensure that standards in place are retained. The menus at the pub feature both modern British dishes and traditional pub meals with sharing platters and light bites featuring also, with the role of Head Chef allowing you an input to place your own dishes on the menus. The kitchen of the property has a team of five chefs with the restaurant area serving 60 - 80 covers covers but regularly serving plenty more as this is a popular dining venue.
A Head Chef who has been working in a similar fresh food pub environment where you were cooking all dishes from scratch using high quality, fresh ingredients. The role needs a strong team leader who has a mature approach to training in the kitchen in order to get the best out of your team. All chefs should be fully aware of current hygiene legislation with experience of training others in this area and ensuring it is followed at all times.
