A superb opportunity for a bright, motivated, professional and capable HR Advisor has arisen to join a newly formed start up business in East Oxford.
You will join a small, effective HR department and be a true generalist whilst also taking responsibility for various HR projects as the business develops.
Main duties will include:
Helping shape and design new processes and procedures
Organising and coordinating staff training and development
Delivering a seamless induction and onboarding process
Assisting with payroll - new starters, leavers, SSP, SMP, SPP etc.
Providing HR advice across the business
Assisting the wider HR team with ER issues
Educating and working with line managers to solve employee queries
Implementing and developing existing systems
The ideal candidate would have a background working in an SME or start-up and demonstrate the following:
Flexible approach to working
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong word/excel/powerpoint abilities - mailmerge etc.
Be a great team player
Have sound understanding of up to date employment law
Be open to some travel within the role
