Job Description Your new company You're joining a rapidly growing property development company based just outside of Dereham that is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a contract basis until December 2020. Your new role A member of the Finance Team is going on maternity leave just before Christmas therefore you'll slot in perfectly with the team to ensure that the all tasks are completed to tight deadlines. Your day to day responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: * Purchase Ledger - invoice processing (high volume) * Dealing with supplier queries * Credit Control - chasing debtors ensuring that payments are made to deadlines and arranging payment plans * Sales Ledger - Ensuring creditors are paid on time * General office admin - data entry * Daily bank reconciliations This role does have the possibility of turning permanent because of the sustained growth of the company. What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for the role you'll either have experience within transactional finance working in a fast-paced varied environment, or be studying AAT with a good theoretical understanding of transactional finance and office based experience. Having the ability to adapt to new situations and tasks is essential as they will need you to work on many fronts. Computer literacy is also an essential requirement of the role. An open-mind and a can-do attitude is ultimately what this client requires.
