Job Description Secondary School Finance / HR Assistant Based in Central Birmingham Maternity Cover (to start at the beginning in December) Your new company A busy secondary school based in Central Birmingham is looking for a School Finance / HR Assistant to cover a maternity leave starting in December. The cover will be for 6 to 9 months. The cover is Monday to Friday, term time only, 8am - 4pm. Your new role The role will entail providing HR and Finance support to a busy admin office. On the finance side the role will entail basic order processing and reconciling accounts. On the HR side you will be expected to support the team on updating new starters onto the database, arranging interviews and sending out confirmation letters as well as monitoring staff absences. This is a very busy school where you will always have conflicting priorities working in a pressurised environment. You must hold similar experience. What you'll need to succeed You will need to have finance/HR experience in the above ideally in a school and be able to work quickly under your initiative.
