Payroll/Accounts Administrator - Accountancy Practice - Competitive Salary
Hays are working closely with an accountancy practice based near Clevedon who are looking to recruit a payroller/bookkeeper into the team.
The role will heavily focus on end to end payroll for the various clients that the practice work with. This will range from 1 person director payrolls to companies up to 70/80 employees. Within the role you will also be expected to complete bookkeeping duties for the various clients. This will include sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank recs and essentially producing the accounts up to trail balance. The clients will vary from Sole traders & Partnerships to Ltd companies and SMEs.
To be considered for this role you will need to have end to end payroll experience and be confident with your payroll ability. You will ideally need to have some accounts/bookkeeping experience. If you have worked within an accountancy practice this will be ideal, however individuals coming from an industry background will also be considered.
