As a Maths Teaching Assistant, your role will involve you joining a particular department chosen based on your qualifications and the school's needs. Day-to-day, you will be assisting planning and preparing class lessons and supporting the increasingly popular Maths Department. The whole of the support staff are enrolled in the school's mentoring system, so your development will be aided by a Headteacher who understands how confusing your first role in education can be. To equip you with further skills and confidence, the school are offering you a place on their bespoke CPD programme. Your role will require you to lead 1:1 and group sessions and you may be asked to support different classrooms.
