The ideal candidate will be a positive graduate who has a good understanding of how to work with children based on experience gained from a similar role and earned a second class degree or better.
You will be a graduate who can add value to the school through not just strong subject knowledge, but also an unbounded enthusiasm for education in general.
You will provide an encouraging manner that will help the students try their hardest to exceed their expectations.
You should be able to create solid and meaningful relationships in order to get the best out of their pupils.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be working in different functions across the whole school and you will be working alongside pupils who may have additional needs, children of a lower or higher ability and children who have English as their second language.
You will be working in and outside of the classroom, with groups of children and on a 1:1 basis, dependent on their needs.
To prepare you for your future teaching career you will help the teacher create lesson plans and may even have the chance to devise your own.
