BUSINESS ANALYST - MANCHESTER
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background as a Business Analyst to join a successful Manchester based Law Firm. The firm has a significant IT function and this role will focus on working with the MI and development teams. In particular the focus of the role is:
To design effective solutions for its complex business and IT processes
Work with cross-functional teams in Development and MI maintaining a laser focus on successful agile project delivery
Be a key interface between IT and the Business to integrate solutions across different business areas
Foster a collaborative approach to problem solving with internal and external colleagues
Carry out process modelling/re-modelling of business and/or technical flows.
Identify and report on business areas and processes which need further focus to increase productivity, efficiency, time savings etc.
Maintain a forward-looking approach, considering and recommending alternative approaches based on business and cost impact and solution longevity.
Collaborate and gain consensus on the needs and issues faced within the business and the desired resolutions for them, preparing full documentation and obtaining correct sign off for agreed projects.SUMMARY
Job title: Business Analyst
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 (negotiable/flexible dependent on suitability)

Previous Experience: Experience of the legal or insurance sectors is an advantage, and prior experience as a Business Analyst is required.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The role requires someone with the ability to quickly adapt and learn and as such legal experience, while desired, is not essential - but prior business analyst experience is important. We are also looking for an individual with:
Strong communication skills - capable of clearly explaining technical solutions with all levels of stakeholders and even clients.
An attention to detail and ability to clearly document projects, such as technical specifications, stories and design specification.
A willingness to collaborate and share knowledge throughout the firm
The ability to develop As-Is To-Be process maps for both technical and stakeholder useTHE FIRM
