Rota Coordinator (Administrator / Customer Service) Speciality Division

Hours - 37.5 per week (7am-3pm Monday to Friday)

About the opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a rota co-ordinator to join our innovative organisation on a permanent basis in the Speciality division of the business. Our rota co-ordinators maximise the quality of service provided to Lloyds Pharmacy customers by proactively managing our relationships with both internal and external contacts in order to provide pharmacist cover within budget and support the recruitment and retention of pharmacists within our B2B contracts.

This is a very busy and fast paced role where each day will be different. You will plan and manage the rota for pharmacists ensuring that all pharmacies open with a qualified pharmacist. These pharmacies are unique to the rest of the estate as the pharmacies you will be managing sit in Hospitals/Mental Health units and Prisons. These pharmacies require a high standard of the organisation to ensure we have the right induvial in the right pharmacy at the right time.

You will build and maintain excellent professional relationships with Locums and Locum Agencies and Relief Pharmacists and through relationship building, converting locums to employed pharmacists

You will proactively manage costs of pharmacist cover ensuring that the most cost effective solution is found, whilst maintaining high levels of service and consistency in individual pharmacies, and ensure that all invoices are processed accurately and on time.

Liaising with Area Managers on a regular basis you will communicate rota and potential issues and to provide solutions to any ongoing issues within the area and provide support. Support is also provided by team members.

You will provide your team leader with all routine and ad hoc reports in an accurate and timely manner. Working as part of a team you will respond to all telephone calls, queries and e-mails within the SLAs agreed and undertake any other appropriate tasks as requested.

About you

It is essential you have excellent communication skills, organised and customer focused. You will have experience in providing customer service / administrative support, be a team player and enjoy working in a very fast paced busy environment. Using our systems daily you will possess sound knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook
