Clinical Fellow - Cardiology
Applications are invited for the post to commence as soon as possible, working at the Aintree Cardiac Centre, a University Teaching Cardiac Unit and an NHS Beacon Centre, offering the full range of adult cardiac services. The post will be for 12 months in the first instance.
The postholder will be involved in Cardiology clinics and in non-invasive cardiac tests including echocardiography, TOE and stress echo. The post will also involve working at Registrar level, on the Acute Cardiac Care Unit and Cardiac wards. Depending on the rota, the post holder will also have the opportunity within their job plan for invasive cardiology and t train in and undertake cardiac catheterisation and pacing. There will also be a session for Research and Audit in the job plan.
The post offers experience and exposure at Registrar level in all aspects of Cardiology.
Experience in Cardiology is essential. MRCP would be desirable but is not essential.
