WOMEN’S & SEXUAL HEALTH & HIV DIRECTORATE
SPECIALITY DOCTORS IN OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY
Two Specialty Doctors in Obstetrics & Gynaecology are required for this directorate.These posts are fixed term for one year in the first instance.
Applications are invited for two Specialty Doctor posts based at University Hospital Lewisham. The successful candidates will join a team of 8 speciality doctors (including these posts) in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This unit has a well established speciality doctor grade and previous holders of these posts have been successfully appointed to higher training numbers or posts as consultants. The unit has an excellent track record in supporting SAS doctors who wish to apply for CESR.
Applicants should have a minimum of 4 years post-registration experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The post-holders will function at senior registrar level on a three tier on call rota and hence possession of the MRCOG is essential. The post will have a dedicated special interest session, depending on the personal interest of the successful candidate.
