Working together across Humber, Coast and Vale
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic band 6 Falls Occupational Therapist to join the Hull and East Riding Integrated Falls Service. You will work as part of a Multi-disciplinary team to provide Specialist Occupational Therapist input to patients who require rehabilitation in a community setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for identification of falls risks with aim of reducing these with appropriate interventions and guidance.
You will be supported by a well-established and very experienced Multidisciplinary team consisting of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Associate Practitioners and Rehabilitation assistants from band 3 through to band 7. You will receive supervision and support from a Senior Occupational Therapist and the Clinical Team Leader. You will be expected to participate in the supervision of other team members. The post holder will be expected to carry out assessments and treatment interventions to support patients in their own homes and/or in community rehabilitation facilities and therefore ability to commute efficiently across the service area is essential.
