Rotational Occupational Therapist
Full Time (37.5 hours per week over 7 days)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Band 5 Occupational Therapy rotations at Aintree University Hospital.
As the Major Trauma Centre for Cheshire, Merseyside and the Isle of Man, we can offer 6 monthly rotations in Major Trauma, Orthopaedics and First Response (AED) as well as Elderly care, Medicine / Surgery, Aintree at Home (community out reach), Aintree to Home Unit, Stroke and MSK out-patients. This will allow you to consolidate your knowledge and skills across a broad range of clinical areas and locations in a forward thinking, supportive and dynamic environment, alongside other skilled Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Assistant Practitioners and Generic Therapy Assistants. The Band 5 Occupational Therapists work as part of the wider Integrated Multi-Therapies Service at Aintree which provides the opportunity to be involved in service development and leadership within a wider therapy team. Aintree is a teaching hospital and there is a strong commitment to continuing professional development supported by the Trust’s COMPASS appraisal system. You will bring the drive to develop yourself, your colleagues and your service in this post.
There will be a requirement to work across a 7 day service within the rotations.
