Senior Project Manager - Edinburgh

RDF Digital are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager with expert-level Project Management skills gained from previously managing projects which span across multiple business units.

You will have worked in a Senior / Lead type Project Management role for a minimum of 5 years and bring to this role relevant PM accreditations as described below.

Key Responsibilities

• You will take full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects (typically greater than 12 months, with significant business or high-profile impact, high-risk dependencies, and medium to large size teams) to meet business objectives for timescales, cost and quality.

• You will manage resources, schedules, and financials and adhere to the company stage gate quality and control guidelines throughout the full project/program life cycle.

• You will be responsible for the management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. In addition, you will contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.

Key Skills and Accreditations

Key Skills

• Extensive understanding and experience in project methodologies Project management skills, in both Waterfall and Agile

• Expert-level skills across: - facilitation, presentation, coaching, risk management, developing budgets

• IT domain knowledge (Agile or equivalent)

• IT systems development lifecycle methodology knowledge

• Knowledge of Business Change methodology

• Advanced project scheduling skills in MS Project or equivalent

• Tools: MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; CA Clarity PPM

Accreditations - please highlight one relevant to you

• Degree or equivalent experience

• Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) certification or equivalent (desirable)

• Prince II practitioner certification or equivalent

• Scrum Master certification (desirable)

• APMG Agile Project Management Foundation and Practitioner (desirable)
